Varna is the third-largest city in Bulgaria. Being strategically situated on the Northern shore of the Black Sea, it is a part of the crossroads between Europe and the Middle East. The town was established by Greek sea-faring colonizers as a trading colony in 570 B.C. under the name of Odessos (Town on water). The sea provides inspiration and strength that reflects each aspect of life. Steeped in culture and art galleries, museums and heritage areas flourish the city.

Especially in summer, Varna is a leading center for arts and cultures. The city is also host to a series of interesting local and international events and initiatives such as film, folklore, theater, music and food festivals, nights of museums and performing arts, etc.

In Varna and the region, you could indulge in a lot of leisure activities - shopping, eating local culinary delights, visiting museums and galleries, eco-tourism, safaris, horse riding, kart driving, sailing and windsurfing, skating, enjoying a brilliant performance of dolphins at Dolphinarium or challenging yourselves with a variety of adrenaline soaring activities.

Varna`s social life revolves around the entrance of its Sea Garden. Holidaying families will be amazed at the city`s child-friendly offerings here - the Dolphinarium, the Observatory and the Kids Corner with more than 30 attractions.

The town also has some of the largest shopping malls in the region with good deals on offer throughout the year.
